Trust Silverline 751b Surround Headphones Review

Silverline 751b Surround Headphones This isn’t that much of a review of a cool gadget, nor does it describe a novel device or something that hasn’t been reviewed before. It’s more of an awareness riser, which at some point might even seem to be an advertisement, as the product is incredible.

A few months ago I went out, looking for a 5.1 headset. I entered a shop and had two choices: the Trust ones and some USB phones from TEAC. I have used USB 5.1 headsets before, and was pretty disappointed: always that wait time when plugging in, a big CPU hog, always had to change application settings to use the new audio device… far too much hassle for my lazy self.Read more at allitreview.com

SanDisk Cruzer Titanium U3 Flash Drive Review

Titanium U3 Flash Drive We’ve received quite a few cool gadgets to review this year (most of which we’ll be giving away (to be announced shortly)). One gadget that I’ve been playing with for the last few months is the SanDisk Cruzer  2GB USB Titanium U3 Flash Drive (apologises to Jamie for the excessive time this review has taken).

The Cruzer Titanium is one tough Titanium U3 Flash Drive, Titanium U3 Flash Drive boasts the ability to withstand 2,000 lbs of crush force (which we put to the test with the help of a friends’ grossly over-sized MPV). One of the weak points on many similar sticks is the USB connector, the Titanium U3 Flash Drive avoids this problem by having the connector slide in and out of the casing (this even protects Titanium U3 Flash Drive from manic drivers who are on a USB destroying rampage).

Performance wise the Cruzer was up to the job transferring a compressed 650MB backup file in 1 minute 38 seconds and reading the file back took just over 30 seconds. Other than it’s toughness one of the other key benefits of this Titanium U3 Flash Drive version is the inclusion of the U3 software suite. Read more at allitreview.com

iDJ iPod DJ Mixer Reviews

The iDJ iPod DJ Mixer is a compact mixing console with 2 built-in iPod docks. Mixing directly from your iPods gives you the ability to utilize thousands tracks from your iTunes collection at your next party or event. If you need to pull audio from additional sources, you’ll be happy to know that the iDJ iPod DJ Mixer has two additional turntables or MP3/CD players inputs. I can see how this would come in handy at an event like a wedding where someone ends up handing the iDJ iPod DJ Mixer a CD at the last minute.

Fenix pack a searchlight into your pocket reviews

searchlight pocket I had a power cut recently and searchlight pocket at times like that when you realise how much you rely on light just being there when you need searchlight pocket. You can’t even read a book when it’s pitch black outside and you’re out of candles. So being the geek that I am, I decided to use this an an opportunity to buy a new gadget. When the power came back I did some digging around to find the current state of the art in flashlight technology – see what I ended up with after the jump…

Thanks to the  helpful guys over at Candlepower Forums I came across a company called Fenix. They’ve have been working hard to make torches smaller, brighter and tougher then the standard $4.99 plastic thing you’ll see on sale at the local supermarket. They have a pretty wide range but the one I settled on is the P1D CE. searchlight pocket an LED torch that’s not much bigger than the single battery which powers searchlight pocket – but searchlight pocket puts out a beam of light that would be more at home in a car headlamp! Read more at allitreview.com

Garmin GPS Review

Sometimes Garmin GPS not just about what should you bring, but how in the hell you get there. If you’re like me (a guy) you can proabably make it from Point A to Point B in record time. The problem is, Point B is not actually your destination, but somewhere a mile or two from it. Now, I’ve been wanting a Garmin GPS for years but was concerned my wife thought it too expensive of a “toy.” So I did the next best thing… I bought her one for Christmas. (Kind of like Homer buying Marge a bowling ball) And the funny thing is, she has this amazing internalcompass. She hardly ever needs the GPS, so it usually resides with me.

The Garmin GPS Garmin Nuvi 360 does everything you want and more. The Bluetooth technology links seamlessly with your cell phone for handsfree conversations. Map and audio directions put you exactly where you want to go. It can also find restaurants by genre and distance, as well as lodging and gas stations. Did I mention it’s also an MP3 player? One of the coolest features is the optional up to date traffic reports. It automatically processes the information on your route, and takes you around the problem. Now, onto the city guide… not in your car, on foot. Once you’ve decided on your restaurant, museum, or Broadway Show, it’ll take you to the front door.Read more at allitreview.com

MoGo Wireless Bluetooth Mouse Reviews

The MoGo Wireless Bluetooth Mouse is a business-card sized, MoGo Wireless Bluetooth Mousethat stores and recharges neatly inside (yes, inside…) your laptop’s PC card slot. To recharge your MoGo Wireless Bluetooth Mouse, just slide it into the empty PC card slot in your laptop. It will fully recharge in less than an hour and provide you with enough power for about 8 or 9 hours of use.

 MoGo Wireless Bluetooth Mouse

As you can imagine, the MoGo Wireless Bluetooth Mouse is specifically designed for people who spend a lot of time traveling like writers, reporters and sales reps. Other mice, even those meant for travelers, usually don’t cut it. Mini-mice (aka “walnut shells”) get lost in your hand and are difficult to maneuver, and the idea of carrying a full-sized MoGo Wireless Bluetooth Mouse defeats the entire purpose of mobility on the go. Read more at allitreview.com

Klipsch iGroove Reviews

Klipsch iGroove snazzy new iPod speaker, the Klipsch iGroove, has a couple of tricks yet to appear on other brands’ compact power speaker systems. First off, it comes with a pair of two-way speakers (woofer and tweeter), whereas most iPod-inspired alternatives rely on a single, small woofer per channel. Within the Klipsch iGroove’s compact dimensions, Klipsch iGroove engineers installed a stereo pair of 2.5-inch woofers and 1-inch horn-loaded tweeters that focus the treble sound up toward the listening position. A set of volume up/down buttons and an on/off switch are the unit’s only controls. The Klipsch iGroove is available in both matte-silver finish and high-gloss black, called the Klipsch iGroove HG.

The Klipsch iGroove comes with a handy mini-remote that adjusts the volume and your iPod’s play/pause functions, as well as changes tracks on your playlists. Like the Bose SoundDock, the Klipsch iGroove can accept any iPod with a dock connector. Full-size iPods, including the video-enabled fifth-generation iPod, fit snugly, thanks to an adjustable backrest. An adapter is included for older iPod Mini models, and Klipsch iGroove has begun bundling adapters for the iPod Nano as well. If you bought the early versions of the Klipsch iGroove that lack the Nano adapter, just call Klipsch iGroove customer support, who’ll ship one to you for free.
